About Us

Foundations & Buildings was founded by Phil Joyce our current M.D.

Phil has over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry.

Phil quickly progressed his interests in the construction industry and has been involved in several construction companies until finally starting Foundations and Buildings Ltd.

Since starting the business, Foundations and Buildings Ltd has progressively grown from its initial small team of only 6 crew members, to now employing over 17 crew members with the use of Sub-Contractors when work requires.

Phil is a very active member of the Foundations & Buildings Ltd team, and will often be found out on site managing the jobs. Phil is also an active member of the community. In 2012 his eldest son Sam Stevenson joined the team fresh from Buildings Survey and QS at Sheffield University to go out on site alongside his father and the other crew members. In 2014 after he had spent some time out on site learning more about the buildings and the way things work, Sam then joined the office team and is assisting in the growth of the company.

Sam is now the Engineering Manager and has been a big asset to the company as it has continued to grow and expand, he will be the first port of call for most of your building requirements and specifications. Sam's technical knowledge of our products will put your mind at ease when going through the initial stages of your project.

We have recently become CE Accredited, which is now a legal requirement for all structural steel.

We specialise in all aspects of construction and civil engineering we have completed numerous demolition works, asbestos removal, chicken sheds, grain stores, agricultural, industrial and commercial builds etc.

We undertake any steel work or civil work you may require. So if it is a poultry shed site you require or simply a piece of steel supplying get in touch and we will be happy to help.

We also offer a 24 hour dangerous structure call out which we are partnered with East Lindsey District Council for.
